In 2016 our son Charlie was diagnosed with aplastic anaemia which was successfully treated by bone marrow transplant in Bristol Children’s Hospital with his sister Emma as the donor.

From the initial diagnosis CLIC Sargent provided our family with fantastic support including a place to stay in Sam’s House, one of their Home from Homes in Bristol, for the duration of treatment.

I’m running the Basingstoke half marathon so that other families can continue to receive the same support.
