In April this year my Dad died of a sudden heart attack, something that none of us had anticipated or had even the slightest idea would happen.

As a family we are taking part in a British Heart Foundation event day, and I shall be running a half marathon. We want to raise as much money as possible to aid research within this vital organisation, so that in the future we can get to a position where no-one will lose such a close and well-loved family member in such sudden and unexpected circumstances.
