Story

  • Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

  • On 26th April 2015, I will be bravely, or foolishly, attempting to run the London Marathon in aid of St Vincent’s School and Christopher Grange.
I have been working with Catholic Blind Institute since 2002.
I am now 65 years old and I am looking forward to yet another of life's great challenges.
I am hoping to complete the gruelling 26.2 mile course in about three and half hours!!
My family and my three small grandchildren will be cheering me through every mile.

  • By taking part in this marathon I am hoping to encourage support through your donations to enable the charity to continue its work providing the services so much in need by visually impaired children and adults throughout the North West.

  • Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
