Story

Hi everyone, thanks for visiting my page.

I am riding a 25mile route around Rutland Water on the 15th May 2011, to raise funds for LORO'S. LORO'S is a Hospice, set up for terminally ill people, with a mixture of staff and volunteers, with care that goes well beyond anything I have experienced before. The LORO'S community are outstanding, and it's a pleasure for me to raise funds for their continuation for the care they give.

My Grandad was diagnosed with prostrate cancer approximately 18 months ago, which unfortunately spread to his bones. LORO'S were there for him in his final days, trying to make him as comfortable as physically possible, doing anything and everything for him. My Grandad passed away on the evening of my birthday, 31st March 2011, and I see this is a way of me giving something back, by doing this ride.

Any donations will be greatly appriciated, big or small.

Thankyou,

James Langton
