The money raised will go towards Sienna
A little background about Sienna:
Sienna is 7 years old and needs an operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy to enable her to walk freely. This operation is not funded by the NHS. The family's hope is to fundraise so they can go to America to have this surgery with Dr Parks, a world leading surgeon of SDR.
Since birth Sienna has been crawling on the floor and in the last 2 years has been able to move more in her walker. She has suffered bruising from falls as she is so eager to get around everywhere.
Sienna was born at normal term weighing 5lbs 11 ounces. Her family thought everything was fine and she was healthy but as each of the milestones of crawling and babbling were not reached they knew something wasn't right. After many medical appointments which are ongoing they were informed that Sienna had cerebral palsy, microcephaly, severe global delay development and a genetic disorder.
After the surgery Sienna will need intense physio and specialist equipment that would help Sienna get around and lead a better quality of life.
