Time to face facts. I'm too old for running. So, I am getting into cycling (getting obsessed with it, Alison my wife would suggest)

I am still a novice and it will be some time (i.e. an infinite amount !) before I am completing 100 mile sportives in the Peak District. 

However, I thought I would put my new-found enthusiasm to good use and join the  Nottingham Life Cycle

Some, including our Vice Chancellor are mad enough to be riding all the way from John O'Groats to Lands End, but I have committed to doing to the 50 odd mile leg from Retford to Sutton Bonnington

So you know what's coming next...so if at all possible it would be great if you could sponsor me. I know that most of us get many requests such as this, but any support would be very much appreciated.
