<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Between September 16 and 18 this year I will be joining a group of 5 who are aiming to complete the coast to coast or C2C cycle ride.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The route is 140 miles from the Cumbrian coast at Whitehaven to the North Sea coast at Sunderland.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Since finally getting round to purchasing a bike earlier this summer (!) training has been going well and despite my childrens’ conviction that I am unlikely to survive the experience, I am looking forward to the trip.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I am slightly worried about all the hills en route, as they are in short supply in the Vale of York where I have done most of my training!</span></span></p>
