As some of you may or may not know, i have been (and still am) a serving Metropolitan Police officer. Unfortunately during the course of my career i have known several Police Officers to have lost their lives in the line of duty. Ordinary people like you and i, with families, children even babies. One morning mummy or daddy went to work.....they never returned. 

Care of Police Survivors (otherwise known as COPS) is a UK registered charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers who have lost their lives whilst on duty. We aim to ensure that survivors have all the help they need to cope with such a tragedy, and that they remain part of the police family as they rebuild their lives.

I will be taking part in the UK Police Unity tour in July 2016. I shall be cycling the 180 miles from the National Police Memorial in London to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. I took part in this last year, met some wonderful people and in total we all raised in excess of £75,000!!!  So please even if its a small amount of change, whatever you can afford will make a difference.
