So, for my next adventure, I'm going to attempt running the Norfolk Coastal Half Marathon from Waxham to Great Yarmouth on the new Norfolk Coast path and trail. My running has been improving lately, and I think a 1/2 marathon is the next step. Wish me luck! There is at least one section on sand.... Gulp! 

For the cause, as some of you know my father in law, Mike, has been suffering illnesses lately that are still in various stages of diagnosis. While nothing is certain, it does seem that these are permanently life changing conditions which mean he will never recover the independence he enjoyed until only three or four months ago. While lots of people have tried their best to help, one source of help that has been consistently great are the people at Age UK. 

I'm not going to push this as I did for my Ultra walk - I'm going to run the race anyway - but if you could see your way to sparing a few quid, I and I'm sure Age UK would appreciate it. Mike has always been about Norwich and local causes so I'm directing this to the local chapter of Age UK.
