Story
Dear Reader:
Thank you so much for taking the time off to visit my JustGiving page.
From 2/07/2013 - 08/09/2013, I will be undertaking a summer expedition abroad to Costa Rica and Nicaragua to develop my cultural awareness and to be able to challenge myself with activities that I have never taken in my life and this is including: building shelters for local people, trekking from coast of Coast Rica to the coast of Nicaragua, improving water sanitation and other projects that are related to the tasks in hand. These projects are aimed to continue the main Millennium Development Goals which was set by the UN in 2000.
Secondly, It will be really awesome if you can help me in this by donating generously towards this expedition, your donations will not only help me build up this wonderful experience but it will also build other progressive projects which are taking place across the world (for instance: Tanzania & Borneo) to continue reaching the UN’s Millennium Development Goals by 2015.
One of the most disadvantage in those countries is that people are living on $1.25 in rural areas which is below the poverty line.
How would it feel if you were to survive with $1.25 for an entire day or even a week?
On a final note, I would like to thank you and I appreciate your donations that you have made towards my fundraising so far for this project.
I'll keep you posted as I am doing more events…
The fundraising events that I took part in so far are...
Fundraising fare by selling cakes, cupcakes and sweets around college (May 2013)
Walking around the entire London Underground Tube Stations for 21 Miles - The Circle Line in particular (March 2013)
