Story

I cannot believe I have been selected to represent Great Britain at the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin in 2023.  I'm buzzing!

I am going to do as many fundraising adventures as I can - starting with a daily litter pick over the Christmas period (from the 5th December to the 31st December) and I will wear a Santa costume on Christmas Day to do it!  I will put pics up :)

I will update and let you know my January challenge.

Thanks for all your support, everyone.  It is so exciting!

The Special Olympics World Summer Games 2023, taking place in Berlin, will see thousands of Athletes compete in 26 summer sports. It will bring together people from across the world to celebrate and promote recognition and inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. With your support, we can help ensure that a selected team of Special Olympics GB athletes attend the World Games. For many this will be the pinnacle of their sporting careers and a life-changing opportunity that will offer people with intellectual disabilities the chance to showcase their sporting abilities at an international level. The funds raised will help to enable over 100 athletes and over 40 coaches and volunteers to attend the event, contributing towards their travel, kit and training in the lead up.Thank you for your generosity and support as we head towards the Special Olympics World Summer Games 2023.
