We raise awareness of young peoples cancer to ensure people know when to see a doctor

Story

So I’ve decided to give up alcohol completely for January and February. I’m raising money for “The Cats Campaign” (Cancer Awareness In Teenagers And Young People Society) .

7 young people a day are diagnosed with cancer. For many, there are delays to receiving a diagnosis, both with the young person delaying seeking help and delay in medical teams reaching the correct diagnosis. CATS aim to try and reduce this in every way possible. We are for young people, by young people.

A close friend of mine was supported by this charity in her battle.

You hear about people getting diagnosed all the time, Cancer does not discriminate, it effects the young too!!

About the charity

Here at CATTs we’re all about making sure young people know the common signs and symptoms of cancer. We encourage people to be familiar with their bodies, and to keep an eye out for any signs that could indicate something is wrong. We encourage anyone who notices these signs to go and see a doctor.
