In memory of Mark Jones
Story
Many of you will know that I lost my dad earlier this year after a continued battle with Cancer. I can't believe that 12 months after he was stood on the sideline supporting me that I am now running this race in his memory.
We are so fortunate to have one of the worlds best Cancer facilities on our doorstep, and I am so grateful for the help that the team over at The Christie Hospital gave to my dad and the continued work they do so that families don't have to go through the heartbreak that we have had to.
Unfortunately I am sure a lot of people have been effected in some way by cancer, so i don't need to tell you what an important cause this is, but I wanted to do my bit to help and raise some money as a way of saying thank you for everything they continue to do!
I will be taking part in the North West Tough Mudder in September, along with a couple of mates and my sister who I have persuaded to join me on the 10 mile obstacle course so please dig deep and help us reach our target!
