Ultra MMA is an organisation that I’ve always been interested in taking part in, I love the sport and think the work they do is incredible. I’m fortunate enough to say that cancer has never directly affected me or my family and as a result, I’ve never had the final reason to take on the challenge of Ultra MMA and to test myself whilst raising money for a brilliant cause. Recently, a close friend of mine was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer. Her courage undergoing chemotherapy and fighting cancer has inspired me to take on the challenge and to raise money for cancer research.
