On 3rd March i'll be running the Edinburgh Meadows Half Marathon to help raise money for the charity Future For Nepal,  which aims to provide Nepalese children with a good education as well as a safe environment where all the needs of the children are provided for. My aim is to raise £1300 for Future For Nepal. 

This summer I'll be off to Nepal for five weeks on a DUCK expedition. I'll be living and working in a local Nepali community, helping to teach in a local school, and also trekking in the Himalayas.

Future For Nepal funds a series of grass-root community projects within the Kathmandu Valley. These projects normally target small, government run schools, where the teachers are highly active in seeking to develop the school's infrastrucure. They also pay for a child to study on a boarding or day school basis at Alpha High School, a private English medium school in Kathmandu. 

All the money I raise will go towards projects like these, the cost of the trip will be covered separately, so please make a donation towards these fantastic causes!
