Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This time last year our lives turned upside down, when my Dad who was just 50 at the time, was diagnosed with motor neurone disease. Just 10 days short of being ill for 11 months, Dad sadly passed away.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) provides excellent care and support for individuals and families affected by MND, and research will hopefully, one day, find a cure. Unfortunately they rely almost solely on voluntary donations. It is for that reason, that I am dedicating myself to continual fundraising for them. I have so far completed a ‘10 mile charity walk’ around Hereford in April, which with friends, raised £426. I then took on an abseil earlier this month, which at 418feet is the world’s highest permanent standing abseil tower.
My next challenge is The London Marathon, 2014, in which I have my place secured through the MNDA. For this privilege, I have pledged to raise a further £3000, so any money raised now, will go towards this minimum sponsorship.
I have personally funded all events registered for, meaning 100% of money raised, goes directly to the MNDA.
