Event: Walk in Her Name 2024, from 1 March 2024 to 31 March 2024
This March, sign up to Walk in Her Name and walk 100km for every woman with ovarian cancer. Walk in her name isn’t just a challenge. It’s a community coming together, uniting for a world where every woman will survive ovarian cancer.

Story

There is no screening tool for ovarian cancel, yet it kills more woman than all the other gynae cancers combined. Funding for cancers like breast, prostate and pancreatic have all increased, while investment into ovarian cancer has gone down in the last decade.

I am walking 100km in April, as part of Ovarian Cancer Actions "Walk in Her Name", as it is so much more than a challenge; it's a collective step forward, a tribute to the women we love, a rally for change, and a beacon of hope for those living with and affected by ovarian cancer.

Donations go towards making Ovarian Cancer a survivable disease for women to have a greater chance than my mum (Linda).

We are walking to remember. Walking to support. Walking to change the lives of women with ovarian cancer. Walking to fund the next big breakthrough. In her name – we walk.

A huge thank you for your support - I'll keep you posted on my progress

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.
