There are so many good causes to choose from but a wanted to raise money for GOSH in thanks for their treatment of Rebecca and because of the fantastic place that it is. We are so lucky to have a world leading children's hospital so close to us should we need it. The kind of place you hope that you will never need ,but if your children or family need their expertise you are forever thankful. Its important that they also provide accommodation so parents can stay with their children when necessary and we have experienced their care since Rebecca was 6 months old. We are the lucky ones and hopefully her operation this summer will be her last, however i feel about taking her there, she is very happy to go to the hospital and they always make it a positive experience for her.

Currently much of the older parts of the hospital are being updated replacing outdated wards with new facilities were parents get to sleep alongside their child, fund pioneering research , buy vital equipment.

I'm really grateful to Roach Runners for providing me with the  the marathon place, although i really did not appreciate how tough the training would be. Training started in September from running 6 miles up to now 20 miles through the snow and ice we have had this winter. Thanks to everyone for your encouragement and shouts when you see me pounding the pavements.

So far so good it's now looking like I'm nearly there and i promise to run the whole 26 miles however i feel !
