We provide family-led care and support to children with life-limiting conditions

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 18th November 2011 my little baby Grandson Thomas was born with a life limiting disorder.  We had the most amazing 14 1/2 weeks with little Thomas before he sadly passed away on the 29th February 2012.  Thomas spent his last few days at Martin House Childrens Hospice and we had some of our happiest and saddest times there.  We had a 4 day old orphaned lamb visit Thomas and they both fell asleep together in his cot, the little lamb has been named Thomas in honour of that day.  Without the help of Martin House we wouldn't have had some of the wonderful memories we have and the work they continue to do helping the family through a difficult time is invaluable.  I want to do everything I can to say a huge thank you to Martin House and have decided to run the Great North Run half marathon to support their cause.
