Fundraising for Beechwood Cancer Care Centre
£505
raised of £950 target
We provide free psychological support to those affected by cancer.

Story

As many of you may know I am a volunteer for Beechwood, a registered charity based in Stockport who support patients, carers and family members who are affected by cancer and other life limiting illness.

In 2002 when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, I, and my family, were lucky enough to experience the support provided by Beechwood first hand and I am so grateful for this, which is why I raise money for them today.

2020 is Beechwood’s 30th year and during May they are launching “The Great Beechwood Bake Off”, a virtual fundraiser. If like me you have turned to baking during lockdown, I thought it would be really great if you could get involved by baking a cake or whatever takes your fancy and either post a video or some photos of your creation on the page below by Sunday 31st May. Even if you are not a baker, please get involved and tell us how your baking experience worked out.
