Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I completed my first half marathon on 5th March 2020 my cousin Nolene ran her first half marathon in Carlingford a few days later, neither of us were prepared for the journey we were going to endure but shared laughter, tears and pride for each other completing what was a huge achievement for both of us miles apart across the Irish Sea!!

We said we would do another once the pandemic was over, unfortunately this isn’t the case and she lost her fight in March this year. This will be more emotional than my first half marathon but I know she will be running with me in spirit.

I’m raising money for the amazing staff at the Belfast City Hospital Cancer Centre Bridgwater Suite who did all they could to help my Mum and Aunt as well as my cousin.

Nolene this one’s for you!!
