Maine Adaptive is celebrating 40 years of offering quality adaptive recreation throughout Maine to individuals with differing abilities regardless of their ability to pay. Through the years, our programs have grown from alpine skiing to so much more.

Story

The Ski-A-Thon is back...sort of. It's a bit scaled back and called Winterfest.  With the difficult years we have had during the Covid Pandemic, Maine Adaptive has continued to offer access to adaptive sports to as many of our participants as possible.  The numbers have been smaller but the smiles are just as big.  Whether it's been skiing or snowshoeing this winter or golf, biking or paddling in the summer to name just a few of the activities the staff, volunteers and participants have been out there having fun.  in this crazy time the programs of Maine Adaptive continue to be free to all participants and we couldn't do it without the help of our generous friends.  I hope you will consider making a donation to our Winterfest fundraising effort and keep the smiles coming for our fantastic adaptive athletes.  Thank you.
