Clara has been riding at Penniwells for the past 5 years. It is an extraordinary place and has given her so much joy. Covid-19 has forced the centre to close and they now face an uncertain future as they strive to find funds to save this wonderful place.

Dougal is Clara’s favourite horse. He is a 19 year old grey Connemara x Irish Sport. He loves bananas and cookies and hates being ignored or out in the rain!!! 

It costs £200,000 a year to run the centre. Let’s help raise funds for Dougal’s “board and lodging” and keep this wonderful centre open for Clara and many other disabled riders of all ages. 

On the 1st April 2020 Penniwells had its 40th anniversary - let’s help them carry on for another 40 years!!!!!!
