We’re taking part in the Mind Your Step 2018 walking challenge in aid of Mind and in memory of Jamie Margetts. 

This year is the second Mind Your Step challenge and will see us following a 15-mile circular trail around Belper and partaking in some ‘fun’ mental and physical challenges along the way! 

Jamie Margetts was a close colleague of Jackie’s husband Andrew Clements. Jamie sadly took his own life after a battle with mental illness in 2016. After Jamie and Andrew’s colleagues set up Mind Your Step, the first long distance walking event in 2017 raised £25,000 for Mind. Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem, and campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
