Story

I have chosen to shave my hair into a mohawk for Macmillan Cancer Relief. My great, great, great uncle Douglas started the charity in 1911 and I'm determined to carry on my families charitable acts.

In 2010 my Granny, Pauline Macmillan, passed away after her second battle with cancer. At her side were my family and Macmillan nurses who did everything they could to help her and my family. She was the most important person to me so I am forever in the debt of those nurses.

I have always had a mop of hair since I was young, and I have seen many people completely shave their heads for cancer charities, but I thought I would do something a little bit different and give myself a Mohawk!

I can't stress how worthy the charity is of your money, I have experienced their work first hand. I know the battle with cancer is a horrible one and the more we can do to fight it the better. Thank you for reading this and I hope you can help me, even with the smallest donation.

Jack.
