Story
Sarah Robotham was tragically taken from us with sudden meningitis, just over a week before her 20 birthday. The way this horrible news effected so many people expresses how loved she was, I never heard a bad word said about Sarah.
What comforts me and many others is that in her short lifetime, Sarah crammed so much in, living her life to the fullest with a big smile on her face the whole time. She travelled, studied what she loved, had a great social life and always looked for challenges. I was lucky enough to spend the last weekend with Sarah, during that weekend she made a point of saying how happy she was with her life, sharing it all with an extremely close family and a great group of friends.
Sarah’s charity skydive in the summer of 2013 summed her up pretty well – a very giving person with a sense of adventure. She absolutely loved the experience. Therefore, myself and Kate thought it was fitting if we did a sky dive in memory of Sarah, to raise money for Meningitis Now. She also never stopped bugging me about it, saying that I should do one!
Please don’t ever take your love ones for granted, cherish every moment with them and don’t forget how precious life is. I planned to be with Sarah for the rest of my life, but unfortunately she was taken from us. We must remember all the great memories we had with Sarah and be inspired by her. Personally she turned my life around, providing me with me with countless incredible memories that will always stay with me. Thank you for everything Sarah, I will always love you, it’s going to be hard without you.
Please donate what you can to a great cause.
