Story
Welcome! Thanks for visiting my page. I’ll be running the London Marathon for British Heart Foundation. Unfortunately, heart disease is common in my family, which is why I’m motivated to run for the BHF.
I’ll be running this in memory of my dad, who died of a heart attack in 2011. My old man was my best mate and I still miss him greatly. Running wasn’t his cup of tea, but I know he’d be proud of me.
My Mum in 2011 was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and had a heart transplant in 2014. The British Heart Foundations funding in transplants over the years is one of the reasons why my Mum is alive today.
I’ve never completed a marathon so this will be a huge challenge, but I’m motivated to raise money for a charity that means so much to my family & friends.
Thanks for donating!!
Jack
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
