Story

Hi everyone 👋

I'm doing my first 7-Day extended fast from Friday 26th March.

I've decided to try and raise money for a food bank in Belfast, they are an amazing group and help people so much, even more so now with the struggles of living in these times.

I'll post up how I prepare for a fast and I'll also keep you updated at the end of each day, showing the benefits and different stages of fasting (in case anyone is interested 😊).

If I don't make it the full 7 days I'll donate £20 for each day although I'm sure this won't be necessary.

If you wish to sponsor me or donate anything at all that would be amazing, even something small is greatly appreciated!

Can my friends and family please share this post for me.

Thanks :D

*Edit* A few people are concerned so just wanted to explain that what I'm doing isn't dangerous if done correctly. I've practiced this for nearly 6 months now, I'm also fat adapted so I burn fat instead of glucose for fuel. Fat lasts much much longer and gives the body what it needs when you can't eat. This is similar to the ancestral human diet and is what would've happened if they were unable to hunt anything for days. After a certain period of fasting your body enters into autophagy, where your cells recycle and rejuvenate and get rid of any bad cells. This is normally the aim for someone doing an extended fast and it's amazing. So please don't be concerned, I know what I'm doing and there'll be no harm done :)
