Age UK are providing vital services that offer companionship, advice and support for older people facing later life alone. Whilst ageing isn't an illness, it can be challenging and as we have an ageing population the great work undertaken by Age UK is becoming more important than ever.

It's a privilege to raise money and represent Age UK in the 2023 London Marathon. I'm extremely grateful for any donations towards this challenge and here's exactly how your contribution could make a difference:

• £10 could pay to answer 2 calls to our Advice Line from older people needing information and support in times of crisis, whether that’s a broken boiler, a bereavement, or an urgent social care situation. 
• £100 could help make a whole month of friendship calls for 5 older people who are experiencing loneliness. For some, these calls can be the only meaningful conversation had all week.
• Your fundraising target of £2000 could help train one of our specialist advisors to give information and advice to older people needing support when they have no one to turn to.
