Well now I've finished the race! I came 20th out of over 200 runners, completing the 2 mile course in 14 mins 39 secs. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me. When all the money is collected in I hope to have raised in the region of £500 for Alder Hey's Imagine Appeal. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! 

  I am Jac and I am 10 years old. On 14th May I am running in the Bupa Junior Great Manchester Run and hoping to raise funds for the Alder Hey Imagine Appeal. I am currently undergoing treatment at Alder Hey to have a birthmark removed but I want to run the race for Dean who is 5 years old and very sick at the moment with cancer.  His treatment is costing thousands of pounds and I would like to raise as much money as I can to help him.  If you can help me to raise some money then please donate what you can.  I'll let you know how I get on.
