We support young people to follow their dreams and ambitions

Story

As part of the Air Cadet Junior Leaders Course Sgt Dan Bushell is raising money for The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation. This charity was set up in the memory of a former graduate of the course, Lt John Thornton RM, who was tragically killed whilst serving in Afghanistan to support young people and provides them with scholarships to support their personal development and the pursuit of their ambitions.

Sgt Bushell along with FS Dascombe and CWO Argyle will be taking up the challenge of walking the length of the Taff Trail from Brecon Town Centre to Cardiff Bay a total of 52.35 miles over the course of one weekend in early March. This will require considerable determination on their parts and is no smal challenge.

If you would like to support Sgt Bushell in his attempts to raise money for the JTYAF please feel free to donate via this JustGiving page or in person!
