There are an estimated 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer¹ and this staggering number is increasing by 3.2% every year² .
We all know someone who has had or is directly affected by Cancer so Jointing Tech and Advanced Power Services have joined forces to raise money for Cancer Research UK and help find a cure for this horrific disease.
Neil & Lisa’s Story;
“Breast Cancer is the most common cancer suffered by woman with more than 55,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer reported in the UK in 2014 alone¹.
My wife was diagnosed with this terrible disease in September last year. Lisa and I have two young children and never dreamed something like this would happen to us, certainly not at this point in our lives, but Cancer doesn’t care about your age, how young your children are or how devastating its presence in your life, and the lives of your loves ones will be.
Cancer Research UK were incredible, they helped and supported our family as we pulled together to give Lisa all the support we could in her fight with the disease.
After undergoing six sessions of chemotherapy and an operation we are hoping that we have managed to beat cancer and look forward to putting our lives back on track. Our story could have been completely different without the support of Cancer Research UK as none of this would be possible.
We, tragically, are just one of hundreds of families affected by this disease and I hope you can support me, Jointing Tech and Advanced Power as we all do our part, no matter how small, to make sure as few of our loved ones have to go through this devastating illness”
A charity football match between Jointing Tech and Advanced Power Services is to take place to raise money and awareness for Cancer Research UK and to support their tireless work to find a cure for Cancer.
Your donation matters, every single penny raised goes towards finding a cure for Cancer – together we will beat this terrible disease.
