I volunteered with Global Vision International back in April 2010. The children and the projects here in Cape Town captured my heart in such a way that I realised that I had found my new path. Along the way I have met and worked with some amazing people from different cultures and backgrounds, all with real passion.

We work at ACJ primary school in Nomzamo Township which has over 2000 students. With our Sports project our volunteer's give weekly lessons to the children, which they would not receive otherwise. Unlike the primary school I attended, at ACJ resources are limited. Even with limited resources you can see the excitment in the children when it is time for their sports lesson. It is amazing to see the real talent the children have.

I will be taking part in the 3 day challenge, walking 80k with a team other staff and volunteer's to help raise money to improve the sports facilities at ACJ and would appreciate any small donation you can give.
