Last August one of my best friends was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Wow , what a shock it was to all of us. After 6 months of Chemotherapy, followed by a course of Radiotherapy, my friend, Jo has come out the other side. She is one of the lucky ones.

Together with my friend Jo, and a few other friends we have decided to raise money for Breast Cancer Care so that other women have the chance the to overcome this disease in the same way Jo has .

We are doing a 10 mile walk on the 9th June. You may not think its a hardship to walk 10 miles but when you have beaten Breast Cancer any challenge is that bit harder. We will be starting  this challenge together and we will finsih together.

Jo has made it through and we are lucky that we can still laugh and enjoy life with her, thanks to the treatment and help that she has received.
