We Love Mcr Charity is the official charity partner of MTSG. The charity aims to give heart, hope and opportunity to the people of Manchester, when they need it most. From Peterloo to the Pankhursts, Manchester has a proud history of solidarity and standing up for those who need help. Within our bright, international city, 1 in 3 of our children live in poverty. We Love Mcr Charity aims to address this through direct support - giving opportunity to young Mancunians and empowering our communities to build themselves up through grant funding. The most recent fund is the Ukraine Relief fund which helps to give immediate support to Ukrainian refugees arriving in Manchester. Together we can do this: by Manchester, in Manchester, for Manchester!
Most recently, We Love Mcr have set up their Ukraine Welcome Fund alongside Manchester City Council, supporting Ukrainian Refugees arriving in Manchester. The fund aims to meet the refugees’ urgent needs with practical advice, hardship relief and mental health support.
We Love Mcr’s Rising Stars Fund provides grants to help ambitious young Mancunians to fulfil their potential where the only thing holding them back is the funds to get them started in their careers. MTSG have worked alongside a number of We Love Mcr’s Rising Stars including Dylan and Abdi, two talented aspiring photographers.
Finally, We Love Mcr’s longest running fund is their Stronger Communities Fund, which empowers local people to improve their communities. The fund provides grants and support to local groups
and charities, working to improve their communities.
If you are able to donate anything at all to support us, it would be greatly appreciated.
