Above is Henry our loving, yet slightly crazy black Labrador! He came to live with us in August 2008 and from that moment on he has filled our lives with fun. Henry was rescued by Labrador South East & Central, and had spent around 3 months in kennels, as his previous owner didn't want him any more. When he arrived he was a nervous, skin and bones dog, with almost no muscle. It was our task to feed him up and calm him down. After a few months he started to settle and realise we weren't going to leave him, as you can see from the photo after a year he was REALLY settled!   :) 

I wanted to do something for Labrador South East & Central to say thank you for finding us Henry. So just before my wedding, I dug out my old running shoes and took out my personal trainer, Henry!  Not only did running with him help me slim for the wedding, but it got both of us fit! So now I am going to run the Women's 10K in my home town Glasgow and raise money for Labrador South East & Central. 

Labrador South East & Central do a fantastic job re-homing and caring for unwanted Labrador's. But the process costs money in kennels, food and medications. 

We all appreciate any small donation that you can make, as it will help other unwanted dogs like Henry find new homes where they are very much loved and cared for.
