Story
This year, I am running the London Marathon in memory of a truly wonderful girl, and in support of the brilliant charity that helped her.
Sarah was a beautiful, sunny, positive person. She loved life, cared deeply and laughed a lot. In 2016 she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, but was determined to fight with the same incredible positivity she approached everything. Sarah was sadly lost last July, just 30 years old, a daughter, a sister, a girlfriend and friend to so very many. She is missed every single day.
During her illness, the care and support that St Catherine's Hospice gave her, and her loved ones, made a real difference.
St Catherine's offer expert hospice care, working hard to support people living with terminal illnesses. They treat every patient as an individual and believe that hospice care is whatever their patients, and those closest to them, need it to be.
The great work the team at St Catherine's do is only possible through donations from the community. I want to raise as much money as possible to help them continue providing this service to those who need it most - making the physical and emotional pain of patients and their friends and family slightly easier to bear. Please please help me do this!
Thank you so much to every one who has donated, is about to click the donate button, or is planning to, it really does mean a lot.
