Story

Izzie is 14 years old and was born with Cerebral Palsy. On January 15th she had her 15th operation to help with her mobility and reduce the constant pain she experiences.

She has grown out of the wheel chair she currently owns, and the chair the NHS will provide is inadequate for her needs.  We are therefore trying to raise money to buy a new wheelchair that will give her the independence she deserves.  With this chair Izzie will be more mobile in school and be able to go out alone with her friends without feeling like a burden to them. We are really hoping to exceed the amount required for the chair so additional funds can then be put towards two other things, one essential and another on a wish list.

Izzie needs intensive physiotherapy at The Bobath Centre following her most recent  operation in jJanuary, this costs thousands. When Izzie went to be fitted for the new chair she also fell in love with an attachment for the chair which turns into a bike! This would give her even more options for mobility and would take her independence to a new level. We have now adjusted our target from £8,000 to £9849! Hitting this target gives her everything she needs, a new lease of life which she really deserves.

7.5% of all donations to Tree of Hope in relation to this appeal will be allocated to the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope to cover our core operating costs.

If we raise insufficient funds or surplus funds then the funds will be used, if appropriate, to fund support for our child's needs in accordance with Tree of Hope's charitable objects.  If in these circumstances we are unable to use all or part of the funds for the benefit of our child in accordance with Tree of Hope's charitable objects, then any funds that cannot be used will be transferred to be used for the general charitable purposes of Tree of Hope.
