As a family we are spending our summer holiday volunteering in a charity school in Delhi teaching basic English to 6-14 yr olds and employability skills to older students. The school is run by Asha, a charity that provides education and health to people from the slums of Delhi, allowing them to prosper and help their communities. 

As part of our experience we are hoping to sponsor some of the kids for a year at University...£400 each. As well as hosting a curry night at Bassenthwaite Sailing Club for 95 (we were blown away by the generosity of the members) and Will having a school cake sale, Izzie will crew for the whole 12 hours of the Southport 12 hour race. Every £10 donated goes straight to the charity and pays for 1 week of tuition, books, clothes and accommodation for a young person.
