Close family and friends know that I really love my hair, and all the ladies tell me to never get it cut and that it's lovely!!!!!!!

COOL!!!!!!!

Lot of kids laugh at my hair, and call me a 'girl' or 'Jesus', or touch it or pull it, but I don't care I think it's really cool hair. So I take no notice of them - and I keep it long and curly!!!!!!!

But now I'm going to have my long curly locks chopped off!!!!!!!!

WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY?WHY? WHY?

I am having it all chopped off in memory of my Nannie Beryl, who died of lung cancer in 2011.

I can't help Nannie now, but hopefully with my contribution, and the contributions of everyone who supports me - it will help in some small way towards conquering cancer once and for all - and in the future help somebody elses Nannie or loved one.

I know there are a lot of cancer charities  out there who all desperately need funding, but I thought that if we help fund the research of cancer and a cure can be found, ultimately all cancers will benefit.

Obviously I want to try and raise as much money as I can, but it doesn't matter how much you contribute, it's more important that you do - something is better than nothing! Every little helps! Pounds grow into hundreds; thousands; tens of thousands! If £1 was donated by everyone in the United Kingdom then we would raise nearly 64,000,000. We would soon have that cure!

I am asking family, friends, people who know me, people who don't know me, anyone and everyone, if they will please please please please help me to raise lots and lots towards research into this horrible illness.

I am hoping to have it cut the week before Christmas. I will post an exact date when I have made the final arrangements along with some Izaak before and after photos.

I am also hoping that the hair I have cut off is long enough to donate to have made into a hair piece for someone who has lost their hair  due to illness and treatments.
