Update 08/03/2012:
I've now finished my training for the Bath Half. In total I ran over 300 miles in preparation since I started training in September. It's been a long (sometimes cold) but fun experience and I can't wait until Sunday.
==================================================
Hello,
I'm taking part in the Bath Half on 11 March 2012 and would like to use it as an opportunity to raise some money for my favourite charity.
The charity is The Anthony Nolan Trust and they are a pioneering charity that saves the lives of people with blood cancer. Every day, we use our register to match remarkable donors willing to donate their blood stem cells to people who desperately need lifesaving transplants.
Want to know how they will spend you donation?
For every pound they spend:
* 74p goes to help save lives, recruiting donors and providing transplants for people in desperate need.
* 14p goes towards raising more money, including our fundraising activities, to help us do even more for the future.
* 7p goes to our research to help make our transplants even more successful
* 4p goes on our education programmes
* 1p goes on our governance
Please give whatever amount your able or want to give, every little helps.
You can find out more about them on their website: http://www.anthonynolan.org/
