Isleworth & Syon is raising money for the Disasters Emergency Committee, to help the citizens of Nepal after the devastating earthquake.
Welsh 3000:
On Saturday 20th June, some members of staff (Mr Chryssides, Mr West, Miss Lawler and Mr Gaskell) will be attempting the Welsh 3000 challenge to raise funds for the Nepal Earthquake Appeal. The challenge requires them to have been to the top of all 15 of the Welsh mountains over 3000 ft within the space of 24 hours, without using any form of transport. This is a long and hard route, in total we will walk for 30 miles and will ascend nearly 4000 m (13,000ft) in vertical height. This is just short of the height of the Everest base camp where 19 people lost their lives on 25 April 2015 in the first earthquake. We would be very grateful for any donations towards this touch challenge for a very worth while cause.
