Story
Brothers and Sisters in faith,
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Subhaana’Allah, we waited all year for Ramadan, and now we are rapidly approaching the final 10 nights of the month. At *Dunfermline Central Mosque*, we are giving you the opportunity to catch the most amazing night of the year - the Night of Power, Laylatul Qadr - by making your donations for the *Building Projects* on the odd Nights (21, 23, 25, 27, 29)
Will you catch Laylatul Qadr?
In the Holy Qur’an, we are told that Laylatul Qadr is better than a thousand months. That means a single good deed performed on this night will be rewarded as though it has been done consistently for 1,000 months!
If you catch this night, then your donation of £100 could be equivalent to donating £3 million!
Your single £100 donation could be rewarded as: £100 x 30 days x 1,000 months = £3,000,000!
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, "Search for the Night of Power in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith No. 2017)
As we do not know exactly which night Laylatul Qadr will fall, we are encouraged to increase worship and good deeds on all ten nights.
The Masjid is an essential pillar of the Muslim community – A centre for prayer and worship & education, as well as important community events and social gatherings.
Our Islamic Studies class is learning the importance of giving charity in Ramadan especially in the last 10 days. To help raise money for our masjid we are holding a sponsor a dua, you can make a dua request for our class to do on your behalf together for Allah swt accepts the duas of children.
