Story
My name is Isla and I am 7 years old. I have something called Freeman Sheldon Syndrome and that makes me a little bit special. Only 500 people in the whole world have what I have.
It makes me look a bit different as well as having Arthrogryposis and Scoliosis. That makes it hard for me to do the same things as other children. Since I was born the Drs and Nurses at Addenbrookes Hospital have been looking after me. I have to go and see them a lot, especially when I have to have operations, I have already had 10 operations.
I couldn't ride a bike so mum bought me a trike and I love it. I have been learning about Egypt at school and saw this challenge that I want to do. With my trike I am going to ride a total of 46 miles and at the end I get a cool medal.
The Giza Pyramids Virtual Challenge will take me 46 miles (75 km) through the fascinating city of Cairo right to the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World (virtually)
Thank you for helping me raise money for all the Drs and Nurses at Addenbrookes
