I am running the Great Scottish Run in September along with my Aunt Sheena and Cousin Louise. This decision was made after the passing of my grandma last August over a couple of glasses of wine and a pinkie promise...so no going back!

I have come to the decision to run for the SSPCA as I feel very close to this charity. Anyone that knows me will know my love of animals (dogs especially!) and will know 2 of our 3 dogs have come from the SSPCA. All my grandparents had the same love for animals...my Gran on my mum's side always had a dog biscuit in her pocket to give all the dogs she met and claimed all the dogs in Machline (where she lived) knew her. My Grandpa on my dad's side was a vet and gave his life to his work. This is why I am running the long 13 miles in memory of all 4 of my grandparents that are no longer with us.
