Despite my advancing years (and declining knees), I am raising money to support the work of RLS by running the Royal Parks Half-Marathon.

Refugee Legal Support (RLS) are a team of frontline lawyers and activists providing legal support to people forced to flee violence/persecution and trying to find safety in the UK. We have projects in the UK and Europe’s refugee hotspots of Athens, Lesvos and Calais.

Sadly our work is more important than ever - with hostile asylum and immigration policies being adopted right across Europe, including frequent border violence and pushbacks. While the UK's own recent (proposed) removals to Rwanda threaten the fundamental right to asylum.
