We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

In 2011, I weighed 354lbs and I was both unhealthy and unhappy.

I lost 175lbs and by 2014, I was a marathon runner , Lay Adviser to the Faculty of Sport and Exercise medicine and a prominent blogger for organisations such as Great Run and the Glasgow Commonwealth Games

I am passionate about promoting the benefits of being active and I campaign about obesity. Cancer is a disease that will affect 1 in 2 people born after 1960 and being obese is a huge risk factor.

One, with the right support and self belief, that we can do something about

Currently, I am again obese and training for an Ironman is my way of refocusing my energy and regaining me health. This time, I have only 70lbs to lose, but I also have an Ironman to complete.

Please help me to raise funds for the vital work that Cancer Research do and to raise awareness of the links between Cancer and Obesity.

Together, we can beat both and help change and save lives
