Having moved to the UK just over a year ago, I started running again to keep in shape and also see different parts of the country.

This will be my 3rd half marathon since moving here and I'm keen to abandon running for purely selfish reasons and to start running these races to benefit others.

I'll be running in support of the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. They provide much needed emotional and practical support for families who have a child with life threatening or terminal illnesses. 

Relying almost entirely on personal donations, the RTCC are able to help around 1,000 families a year. 

So please dig a little through your pockets, search for those pennies between the cushions and donate a little towards this amazing cause.
