We help stroke survivors to find strength through support.

Story

On Saturday 9th June, Iona, Ben, Josh, Tom W, Roxy, Joe, Eli, Nilima, Thabo and Motumi walked 10 miles around Derwentwater to raise money for Stroke Association, a charity close to some of the boarders hearts.

A stroke can be very unexpected, and often has life long consequences for the survivor and the whole family. Part of the recovery is about regaining confidence and independence for the survivor, and allowing the whole family to get back to life as it once was.

Stroke association are a charity who can offer help and support both mentally and physically to stroke survivors and their families.
