Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page!

Some of the more fitter, able bodied members of Harwell International FC are taking a break from tearing up the North Berkshire League for one weekend and taking part in the Reading Half Marathon on Sunday 21st March.

As only one of the team has ever completed this distance of running (James 'Paula Radcliffe' Shercon), this will take some of us to places that we have never been before.

We are doing it in aid of The Histiocytosis Research Trust www.hrtrust.org. It is rare form of leukemia that targets the immune system. We chose this Charity as my cousin's little boy Joel has been affected by this disease since he was a toddler.

All donations are gratefully recieved and will go to a very worthwhile cause.

Now off to do hit the road and get some training in........................
